I have been looking at a product which will removes the discolouration on a exhaust headers of a bike and remove all the ingrained grime effectively. So for the last month of so been looking at all options and came across this product as the one which makes stainless steel sparkle as this clip would suggest.

Warning turn the volume down that soundtrack on the clip is horrendous.

So today from Japan two tubes have landed, review latter on this week as to how it goes.

Right I went in straight and got the bike stripped to get to the entire exhaust.

I have used one tube and this is after one hit and after 2 hours of elbow grease. The results are staggering !!!!

Please bear with me tapatalk on 4g won't upload pictures.

Autosol is good on chrome parts and it will not shift the grime like this mate. I have wasted hours for sod all to show for wait for the before and after pictures.

Some Pictures for you to look.. Just a reminder this cleaner is acidic based so please don't use it on good chrome.

Before the treatment the exhaust pipe and the entire exhaust looked like this.

    After IMG_3432.JPG IMG_3431.JPG IMG_3430.JPG

Tomorrow I will give it another hit to refine the finish and mop up a few areas more. Overall this product just nails it in all departments, its highly recommended for exhaust pipes.

Small tube, $28 a throw, couple of hours elbow grease....not for me ichi. Bet you they stain up again within a week. Dependent on use of course.
I once had a triumph triple with black engine casings and the headers were painted black with high temp paint. A new lick of paint twice a year kept them looking good with paint that's as cheap as chips.
