When is an Import not an Import?

My mate is looking at an EP3 tomorrow.

    I've just HPI'd it.

It's come back with hardly any description on it, which in the trade means it's normally an import.

But it's a full UK spec car. Not an JDM import.

All I can think is that it's been used somewhere like Jersey/Geurnsey etc etc.

Anyone know if it's possible to find out more info?

Logbook should state date of manufacture and first registered, also if it was an import of any sort.

sometimes if its got no history then there is nothing to display, done 100s with literally nothing showing up

Sometimes when the car has been previously registered on a private plate, it will come up with little/no information.

    What welz said.

Also we get it with people who are in the forces and buy cars through brokers or whatever. HPI literally had nothing on it bar the reg

    I followed gary's advice.

Honda advised teh car was originally registered in teh Netherlands, then imported over here within a few weeks.

Looks like it's not happening anyway, blokes been messing my mate around..
