    Hi all.
    Need advise on how to clean the inside of my partners FR-V's alloy wheels which I don't think have ever been done!! As we only picked it up last weekend.
    Sunday it had a good wash and polish along with an oil change.

    I would take the alloys off and use a synthetic brush and some wheel cleaner.

    @DrSam
    Did that very briefly yesterday, but did not have any strong wheel cleaner (any recommendations) as it seems like baked on brake dust, road grime years worth.

    While not the wheels concerned this gives you an idea, but they are a bit worse than the picture in that the rim is the same as the inside even with a stiff brush I was unable to see the paint underneath the grime.

    mate I myself think a lot depends on how long you want spend cleaning them as no rush just take time and elbow grease by the bucket load...

    Bilt-Hamber Auto Wheel is the best I've ever used. Well liked on Detailing World too. Epic stuff.

    In the video the wheel was positively spotless by comparison to mine.

    @DrSam.
    I would, however it is a daily drive so would need a spare set of wheels.

    Most alloy refurbishment's companies provide a spare set of wheels to drive with and normally give your alloys back within a week.
