Excellent tools people. I think i have more than a few favourites but the top two are probably:

Wiha pozi screwdriver bit (coupled with my AEG li-ion driver)... never buy another pozi again.

Makita SDS Drill... Never curse another concrete wall again as it just drills into anything with a few slogs (coupled with some Dewalt SDS bits)...

Will try n post pics later!

I was working on my first gen and damn clamp ends scratched my hand badly, so I have bought a few hose guard sleeves.

I have ordered them in blue and will look cool too !

Chaps I have bought a few Beta tools (pronounced as bettaa) recently all bike tools and I am seriously impressed with the quality and durability and most importantly these tools are so hard they don't chaff the ends with heavy use.

A lot of top flight MotoGP , WSBK, and BSB teams use beta tools as their preferred tools suppliers, so they are well established as a quality tool maker.

So I am interested in a tool set of my first gen as a battle box when I do long distance and come in hand for the bike also. I can across this set Beta Tools Easy Socket Set 1/4" & 1/2" Square Drive 93 piece Kit in Case 903A/C9 - Motorsport-Tools.com

Not a bad price what do you guys think?

That really is a decent price for a quality set - Lifetime warrantee too. If the ones you've tried meet the CJ standard, this set is worth a punt. As you say,
I think you should go for it.

Order placed I will post pictures when it arrives. If anyone really interested in quality tools give Beta a try.
Have a look at the lengths they go to make a trusty spanner.

I bought this 10 ton air/hydraulic jack some months ago. Didn't use it for sometime but now with the ramps in action it's a god send and comes in really handy, place the jack under wherever you want to lift, connect up the airline, press the button and up she goes !

    HydraulicJack.

It's a beast and my currently favourite tool !

Resurrecting a really old thread.

For me.. ratchet spanners. I bought a set about 11yrs ago and they're my immediate go to tool for most things. I have a set that go from 8mm up to 18 or 19mm. I lost the 10mm... typically the most used and actually put it on my Xmas list last year. So I got a replacement.

Then today, I found my old 10mm one, nestling between a couple of boxes where it had obviously fallen.

So now I have two 10mm... which is great.

Out of all the tools I've bought in the last 33 years (I trained as an engineer and had a decent selection at one point)... these are my best purchase.
