What would you do? EP3 or DC2 JDM 98 Spec

    Hi everyone.

    I've currently got a cosmic grey EP3 modded but im thinking of selling up for either a Yellow JDM 98 Spec Integra Type-R or a CW one or i might keep the Civic.

    What would you do in my shoes?

    Spend some cash on the EP3. CW DC2's are boring and common, yellow one's have 'those' seats. Only DC2 I'd go for personally is a silver one...

    Yours can be made to handle, look and go awesomely if you spend money on it in the right places :Smile:

    Do's handle well at moment as got some coilovers's on it aswell as some good rubber. Was thinking of rear upper and lower and front upper strut brace with engine torque dampner next month if i keep it.

    Keep the Grey CTR, best colour IMO

    as you already have the EP3 i would keep the EP3 and spend some cash on the girl in the right area's :Wink:

    had a DC2 sold it bought an EP3, after a month and a half I decided to buy a 98 spec, EP3's are rubbish compaired to the 98 spec JDM ITR, you will not be dissapointed.

    i see far more EP3s on the road than CW DC2s...

    i say keep the EP3, but if it was me i'd probs buy the PY ITR...

    EP3 Pros over DC2,

    K20A2 (VTC,i-VTEC), Better MPG, Better ECU, Better gearbox, Its not 12 years old. Doesnt look like a rover 200

    DC2 Pro's over EP3

    Handles better, More fun to drive?, LSD, Not as common as EP3, Handbuilt (well hand ported) engine :Smile:

    If i go for a drive for a good hour, i will see about 10 EP3's and 0 DC2's.

    I've driven 1 UKDM DC2 and it drove amazing, abosolutly loved it!

    I've got the best of both worlds, I know the DC2 handle slightly better but in all fairness, they're not practical, I much prefer my EP3, though when the DC2 comes back out it'll be an absolute animal!

    how are they gash? Yeh they arent as pretty as JDM DC2's but they arent a bad car.

    are you comparing a DC2 to a EP3? or a JDM DC2 to a UKDM DC2?

    I don't know about anyone else but i'd much rather a 98 spec engine thats machine ported than a 96 spec one that has been set about by some jap with a chisel and a case of the flu
