what can spray/paint

    this is my engine bay, boring i know, needs a make over, what can i paint, and do i need heat paint on some parts, looking to spray the inlet pipes, air filter cover etc....

    Stick to the rocker cover and that's about it, anything else will look tacky.

    what he sed^^ manifold cover cud do with a re-paint, other than that car seems to be welll looked after

    paint the rocker cover whatever colour you want , get some high temp black on the manifold heat shield and give the rest a good clean and use something to give the black rubber and plastic a bit of shine

    thinking a rising sun rocker cover, but every now says there old skool and loads for been done, i could of sworn i seen some on here, when they was painted like chocolate bars, twirl, kitkat and a crunchie?

    Bingo. This is what i've done. Autoglym Tyre Shine brings up the plastics a treat.

    you won't be able to paint rubber and plastic and have a good finish. the paint will flake off, if it was mine id clean the shit out of it and paint the rocker cover white to match the car, leave it at that unless you could do your own wire tuck??

    good clean and replace rusty bolts etc.i think always makes a difference
