what a day, but i am happy for now

    well yesterday i took my car to get mapped at euro spec 2000 by romain from artech tuning


    well i got there at 9 in the morning and i was booked in at 10, so i stayed and watched a yellow supercharged S2000 on the rollers and it got 298bhp at low low boost, which was awesome


    so 10o clock came and it was my turn, i was soo excited, until my car decided not to start, great, so it went in to the shop and started doin some tests, came down to it i didnt have enough fuel lol, then i had to fit my 550cc injectors, i was only booked in to get a remap and dyno, but i finally got on the dyno at around half 2 time,


    so strap the car on the rollers and off me go, started off romain chipped my ECU and used eCtune on it,


    when i went there i wanted to run 10psi and see what BHP i made, he started at 5psi to get it all mapped properly for the top power runs at 10psi, done a few runs at 5psi then we found a oil leak, so we carried on with the runs


    on the last run on the 5 psi the car made 185.6bhp, which ist too bad i think,


    then the oil leak was so bad we decided to stop running


    found out that the leak was comin from the oil feed and oil return, we r currently fixing the problems now then i have got to take the car back and they will map it for 10psi

    185bhp @ 5psi ! thats serious. 10psi should be 250 + !

    yea and romain reckons he could of tweek'd it to 190bhp at 5psi too :Smile:


    if i see 250bhp i will be a very happy lil chappy :Smile:

    yea all the right gaskets, it was where the lines meet the fittings, the fittings were crap, so i gotta get new fittings then its all systems go

    standard block


    arp headstuds


    cometic headgasket (30 thicker)


    laser platium spark plugs


    all new gaskets and fluids


    t3/t04 turbo 63a/r


    550cc rc injectors


    35mm wastegate


    2.5" downpipe with 2.5" full decatted magnaflow exhaust


    screamer pipe


    apexi avcr boost controller


    so its nothin too special at the minute, but its performing very very well


    plus romain the mapper is awesome, he really knows his stuff

    should be even better when its boosting at 10psi,

    i got all my oil lines fixed, went back and saw romain at euro spec 2000


    it all went very well, i was aiming to run 10psi but due to my map sensor only allowing me to boost to 8psi, over that it was boost cutting, but i just ordered at hondata map sensor tho :Smile:


    so the final figure was 229.9bhp at 8psi, which i was very happy with


    my map sensor should be here and my 3" downpipe aswell, so get the map tweaked a lil bit and should run a little more power hopefully


    but i dunno whether to run 10psi or stay at 8psi


    what you peeps reckon?

    yea, but it would be good to see what it gets at 10psi tho lol


    but like you said 8psi is seeing very good numbers already

    I just said it based on the safety factor. If it can run a safe psi and produce that power then thats awesome


    Its people's greed for figures that make things go bang lol

    stay at 8, you have good figures and its safe as jono said go higher you could see boom

    yes standard internals, just with arp headstuds and cometic headgasket thats all

    yea i suppose you lot are right, i think i will stick with 8psi for now :Smile:
