Also the shortie will increase oil pressure by 3 psi so good for timing chain as well

I differ my opinion on that the hamp filter is good has a valve and the shorty will increase pressure by a few psi so good for timing chain as well.

I would love to see any document anywhere where hamp makes this assertion. I have till date not seen one, or is the folk law based on youtubre clips and cutting open filters. The stock oil filter has a relief valve too .. that valve is nothing but to prevent oil leaving the filter once the engine is turned off.

The oil pump in your Accord is pumping oil at really fast rate. I have just looked up the oil pump design and specification and it can circulate 54.3 litres/minute at 6,300 RPM.

So half that RPM at motorway cruising in 6th gear its half that rating. You sump holds 4.2 litres so you entire sump is circulated 6.4 times a minute., LOL

And you guys want more pressure based on what? LOL

So this day has come, with hacksaw and a bit of elbow grease I cut 15400-PCX-004 S2000 oil filter and this is what I found inside.

Totally agree with the guy on that video - 3 out of 5. Now I want to try different filter.

Changed engine oil 2 month ago and decided to do the same procedure as last time. So Hamp H1540-RTA-515 is opened here

Overall quality IMO much better than found in 15400-PCX-004 filter. Design not ideal, but filter material is still stiff and holds well. Valve also has a better design and looks good.
You can make your own conclusions.

    Not quite.

The pressure relief valve or by-pass valve - the one you can see at the bottom of some filters when you look down into them - lets oil flow directly through the middle of the filter without being filtered instead of going through the filter paper if the oil isn't flowing well because it's still cold.

The anti drain back valve is the little piece of silicone rubber right under the holes at the top of the filter when you look down into it - it keeps oil in the channels / galleries in the engine when the engine stops, so it can lubricate the cylinder head immediately when the engine starts again.
