    how can i hook up a car 6X9 to a laptop and work???

    Kind of... easiest way is get an old pair of headphones, or a lead that has the 3.5mm headphone jack with the wire comming off it....split those, and connect the correct wire to the 6x9

    so ill grab the battery off my car yea?


    hook that up to the amp so the amp has power... but how do i hook up the speakers to the amp so it has power but also into the laptop?


    being broke and jobless but still upgradeing FTMFW!!!!!!

    You can get cheaper but whatever. You rock a normal hi FI amp (if you have an old one in your house, use that!)


    Hook your laptop output to that hi FI amp


    Hook the hi FI amp to the chosen speakers. Why 6x9s may I ask? Why not just some normal hi FI speakers? lol!

    Find an old stereo amp - you will have one somewhere, if not, someone in your family will. Doesn't matter how old it is, it'll work.

    well here is the story...


    i was just recently sacked so im spening alot of time researching stuff and looking for jobs courses and stuff to hit hard after christmas but im also a music lover...so...


    after stripping out my Civic i have a alpine amp and two pioneer 6x9's that were in the back plastics (got a full black interiour for 20 quid :Grin: ) so that laying about and got this bright idea... free upgrade if i can pull it off :Grin:

    yea i have a surround system for my TV but i don't wanna mess with that


    and yea some speakers on my old desktop but that was recent rebuilt and doesnt have a sound card :Angry:


    i don't really wannt cut stuff up unless its old headphones or some speaker wire...

    decent pc... no sound card


    car... can't afford petrol


    tv system but don't have many CD's


    i search alot of my music unless im driving also had a really rough year for my family as well... christmas is my momo boss kit and a bottle of wine with a fat huge turkey...
