The steering wheel has become stiff.

What are my options for correcting this issue?
    1. Would oil change help?
    2. Is there a setting in the diagnostic I can change for more comfort?
    Thanks

Not sure if there is any difference between "stiff" or "heavy" but (assuming the tyre pressures are OK) if there is a change from what it has been until now, the latter is normally something to do with a problem with the power steering system. My remedy would be to take it to the garage.

Probably because you've messed about with the steering and suspension too much.

Should I loosen the 2 lock nuts near the wheels (that control the steering) and re-tighten them??
What would be their torque spec?? I think the increased ground clearance is influencing the power steering hardness. Pottermus answer makes more sense now.
    Thanks

If you increase the suspension height it will lessen the caster angle. This normally makes the steering lighter and more twitchy. I would of thought its move of an hydraulic problem.

I will check steering fluid, do a steering wheel alignment and see if any better. If not I will check steering rack. I have the guide how to check and adjust that (Honda Prelude).

No dealer for me after an excessive charge in manhours.

    Thanks for the info.

I had a similar problem with my Q5 but I retrofitted drive select which adjusts steering comfort levels among other settings to comfort (soft) auto (preselected normal mode) and dynamic (stiff) using left and right button arrow selector. It is a good technology, which Honda should adopt in the future. This does not fix my CR-V problem but it was a quick fix for my Q5. Thanks for your comments.

Problem was sorted out after changing the balancing struts.
