Got a EG6 and the speedo has stoped working , car was just sat idling and it went up like a rev counter and now does not work .

Is it on a fuse ?

If you've checked the obvious the VSS, then check fuses and bad earths, i'd even check your dials i once had a set of dials no function correctly because some of the solder had worn away!

the speedo is connected to the fuse labelled back up under your dash. mine stopped working for a while and i couldn't figure out for shit why. didnt think back up would have anyhting to do with it so i didnt check. then when it really bugged me i jus checked every fuse and there it was, blown. changed it and was eworking agen
