Right ill be getting some HID headlights soon, but in the mean time i bought some white LED sidelights.

All fitted, i tested them out - fine, except for that for some reason there are 2 white sidelights and 2 yellow sidelights :Messed:

Is this normal or has something been added or what?

is it not the headlight bulb coming on very dimly because LED bulbs fuck with electrical resistances ?

my LED sidelight bulbs almost look purple compared to the yellowness of the shitty half beam headlights.

No it doesn't, our uk EGs have a feature called 'city lights' which adds extra current to the sidelights when the engines running.

This is a very very easy fix, Finally something i can really help with....

Looking into the engine bay from the front, Top right corner near the brake and clutch res, there is a silver box attached to the car, has a sticker on it saying don't touch because its hot or something, Pull the wiring plug out of that box. That will then stop your headlights coming on dimly when the engine is running, Thus leaving your nice new shiney sidelight bulbs on by themselves...

    Awesomes

Yeh my lil box is in the top left corner as you look into the bay.

So thats all you have to do ? Does this cause any further problems or whats the point in the box to start with ?

    Cheers, LUke

Nope, no further issues, i removed my box completly from the car (weight save y00

All that box does is tell the main headlight bulbs to come on dull, like it has been said, its the city driving lights or some bullshit... Just fuck it right off!
