hi im RON from dirty ol southend

and I've been lurking on here for sometime reading threads,

i had an 04 CTR and that went well, for a daily driver

but im after some real beans and I've got a 69 mini pickup running a 1.3 turbo setup, with gas, good for 250hp but unreliable as the british summer....

so I've been debating on a RWD setup as i have the space,

then it was the choosing of an engine,

i was after some thing reliable so it was going to be jap, and alloy,so jap again,

liking the way my CTR went i thought about a B-series, but the cost of a motor on its own is crazy plus the mods....it didnt really work out good for my pocket,

then i came across a 11sec Civic,FWD ofcourse and i was blown away so started looking into it, and it came up

I don't know if you're going to find a FD with 2.9 unless you get it made.

I've seen that MFactory do alot of FD kits and they might be the best people to ask about it but i doubt its going to be cheap.

iv'e heard of on in an economy version of the Civic,

    forget the name tho,

failing that il have to go up to 13's

recognise that from the mini turbo forums

Id be loathed to cut up a pickup for RWD, if I had to it would only be for a K (honda one not a crap rover one)

This does sound like a good idea.

K24 In the rear off a mini weighing in at only 655kg.

    I slightly sense death?

  6. Performancetek Club Veteran ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

nah, my plan doesnt involve death, it involves K24 AWD so it should be a bit safer  once the EG sells....

    k from a Prelude?

its a bit on the large side,

but what is the main differance that would sway you from a D to a B series?(16)

  8. Sam. Club Veteran ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

    K20 from a EP3 Type-R.

From D - B if your staying N/A then you get Twice as many cams and higher horsepower as standard.

K series if from Civic Type-R, accord S etc.

as far as honda engines go, they are the future. so much more potential than the older ones
