Purchased my insurance, 2days untill I am 17! :D

    AHHHHHH finally I have purchased my insurance and can start learning to drive on thursday ... been waiting for this day for YEARS :Tongue:

    is this a new thing...the price going up about 1000 when you pass?


    i paid 700 quid for my first years insurance on my polo and it never changed when i passed...just updated my policy to say i had a full license rather than a provisional....

    Same here my price did not change when i passed just stayed the same as what i was quoted.

    Provisional drivers are cheaper to insure, they see it as they ain't driving it that much and will be with a fully qualified "mature" driver. It will go up abit as he said when he passes and let out on his own!
