Guys looks like power steering pump is on way out...vague feeling from steering, feels like tight spots when turning wheel slowly.

Topped up fluid when i first bought it,which seemed to help...but issue still there and fluid is a light ish brown color and not the cheery red i added.

Question is where to buy...prefer new (pattern part) or decent second hand....any thoughts best place to find one.

There is a number for sale on EBY, new and used.
Also found some other suppliers for new and used by searching using google.

Sorry, which car are we talking about? (It helps us to help you if you add your car to the Club Garage)

It's worth getting a full flush of the PSF fluid (if it's hydraulic PSF), you'll be surprised how much of a difference this makes.

Oh yes its 2005 CR-V 2.2...just picked one up on ebay new minus the pulley.

Mechanic will flush...with it being flushed do i need specific PSF.

I would stick to Honda PSF, usually, 2 litres will flush it nicely.

It would be worth asking the mechanic what procedure he will follow for doing the flush.

No mate..the fluid was so brown and water like,we thought for the sake of £60 pump it was worth just changing it anyway along with flush.

Flush now done and so far so good.

I've popped an advert in the sales section if any one can make use of it.
