Oil Level Sensor

    Hi
I have a 2009 FR-V 2.2 diesel. Since owning it the oil light has been flashing. The book suggests this is an oil level warning. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet specifically about the FR-V but the Civic has an oil level sensor mounted in the sump. I cannot see any sensors mounted in my sump so I believe the FR-V gets its feed elsewhere.

I have replaced the oil and filter and tried to clear the code in the ECU to no avail.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please? Is this indeed the oil level sensor and what needs replacing?

    Thanks

What code did you get before attempting to clear it?
    Is the oil level correct?

Here are some useful information, please take a moment to go through them.

I assume, your oil pressure switch (Honda partno. 37241-RNA-A01) or its electrical connection is faulty.
The switch ist placed (~centric) at the lower half of the cylinder block. The I-CTDI doesnt have an oil level
    sensor.
