At the time no one has advised me this and I had to make my own fittings to prevent stretching of cables. Anyway I don’t regret it because they fit and sound fantastically. Would recommend to anyone.

Changed engine oil last weekend just before the winter and all looks fine, very little gunk on top of magnetic plug.

BTW, the paintwork's looking good @Mugen_fd2 :Niceone:

Yeah, just cracked for some reason.
Its easy to keep on top of it with ceramic coating, plus using diluted C2V3 as drying aid for gloss.

Decided to swap all bulbs for led ones. Some of them came from S&D in China, the others from autobulbsdirect. Also to prevent hyper flashing I bought 3 pin flasher relay from earlier mentioned autobulbsdirect, but despite their assurance that its universal fit it does not fit my Civic and neither all the rest japanese cars. After some research I found that is because of opposite polarity for 2 pins, so bought piece of wire and 6 spade connectors off local diy and it worked. Will leave it as temporary fix until correct relay will arrive from China.

    Correct relay for Japanese cars

Also painted exhaust manifold shied(3 light coats of silver and 2 of clear paint) and wrapped battery with 5d CF film. Copied this from K24 CL9 Guy.

Smashing! I've never liked those corroded/marked heat shields.
However, I don't like you anymore - I will have to add this to my 'To-Do List' :Aghast:
My OCD now says that you need to do the same to the rocker cover so the match.:Whiteflag:

Most definitely I will do that, but not sure about the colour?

    Grey VHT SP205

    or
Red VHT SP204 (Original Type-R in the middle)

Hmmm. Personally, I'd go with whatever was there when she left the factory, but that's just my view.
It's what you like that counts.

Big cities is pain to live in - too many people, to many fucking idiots that don't have respect for things that belong to someone else. Just annoyed and angry to find the new dent after wash made by some idiot.:disagree::disagree::disagree::Whiteflag::Whiteflag::Whiteflag:

Didn't want to abuse your OCD and painted valve cover this week so here is the process.

Removed valve cover and and applied some paint remover
    IMG_6990.
    IMG_6993.

Engine from inside looks good IMO
    IMG_6988.

Polished cover for my best ability with wire brushes and masked places where I want to avoid paint to be applied
    IMG_7009.
    IMG_7022.

Removed oils and contaminants with panel wipe
    IMG_7023.

2 coats of high temperature primer
    IMG_7024.

and 3 coats of wrinkle grey VHT paint in different directions applied
    IMG_7042.

Then baked in oven for 30 min set on 100 degrees Celsius(make sure no one in house for a day and keep all windows open) for even coating.
    IMG_7029.
    IMG_7031.

make sense to replace spark tube seals, cover gasket and of course rtv liquid gasket to apply in corners
    IMG_7007.
    IMG_7032.

and final result - nice grey frosted like finish and no rust patches
    IMG_7041.
    IMG_7040.

All in all it was fiddly job, some imperfections when I touched wet paint during masking tape removal and should allow myself more time, but was a bit in rush to get Civic up and running before the Christmas.
Sure I will do it much better next time if I need to. Probably will have to paint exhaust heat shield in anthracite at some point to mach the valve cover.

Found some Mugen replica pedal covers and though I will go for it. It cost me just under £10 with original priced around £160, so it was no brainer for me.
