Thanks! As winter is coming to an end I have decided to wash engine bay a bit. Also in plans to polish headlights with 3m kit and seal with gtechniq csl and wax on top. Because I will have to remove front bumper I bought horns from e90 BMW, because standard sounds embarrassing. Bulbs will be changed as well.

Love the care you have shown her and nothing to me shows love for a car than a clean engine bay

    Cleaning has not finished yet.
Not sure who to blame for this - storm Doris or just passing by peasants. :brickwall::Rant::disagree:

Noticed squeaking clutch pedal and it made noise in gearbox housing and slave cylinder. For that I have used silicone grease Ceratec that has no metal in it therefore safe for rubber. Had to bend rubber cover for slave cylinder and applied large quantity on tip of my index finger to reach that rusty joint inside the box and on cylinder as well. That eliminated nasty noises. Red paint on drivers side "Sport" sticker has faded and I took decision to debadge my Civic. Mrs hairdryer, tooth floss and carburator cleaner made the job very easy. I think it looks much cleaner and more grown up.

Had a chance to install the new horns and seal the lights at the front and the back to prevent moisture getting inside.
It looks like someone has been there before me - found things that doesn't belong to the car, but to washing machine
    IMG_5817.

signs of sealing process(cracks on the edge of headlight), but instead of clear sealant hondabond or threebond 1215 been used .

So I had no other option than just to go around all that crap with clear coat sealant(couldn't find more expensive sealant than Geocel The Works sealant).
While bumper was off - changed standard horns for PIAA Sports. Wow they sound much better and I can recommend them to anyone. Also will note that no additional wiring needed and stock can be used, as they have OEM spec draw and will not blow fuse or fry stock wires.

Bulbs replaced with Nightbreakers/Whitevision combo. All E marked to stay legal.
Drivers side new bulbs(look whiter to me), passenger side as it was before

Happy for the work I've done, but as usual when doing something ahead of thinking(stupid me) I cracked drivers headlight. Was so annoyed that front lights has been sealed but still let moisture getting inside so thought " hey, let me try to unscrew that 10mm bolt and disassemble whole unit to clean old sealant - do it properly" but when I herd cracking noise and saw plastic pieces inside headlight unit I realised what a terrible mistake I've made. This set me back by £98 for the new lamp, but its HALF the price quoted by my local dealership.
Will be contacting Holdcroft Honda(BIG THANKS to them) next week to sort this out just before my MOT.
Guys, do I need to tell at the service station to adjust light beam in order to pass MOT or new headlamp will come "pre-adjusted"? Thanks!

Do you fancy a run to Japfest at Donington park on 1st July as it would be a great addition to the club stand to have this beauty with us.

I've never been at club meets or Japfest, but would love to see some nice fast japan cars, also track time is something hard to resist. Probably will decide a bit closer to the date if tickets available.

The weather was lovely today so it was a good time to deal with a thin, around 70um, lacquer respray signs (done in the past) to the right rear quarter.
For this task Meguiars polish and Carpro denim pad has been used.

    and the result

This is not a final result by any means as time was limited, just want to make it less noticeable. Full paint correction will be done later.
