    Hi all,

My wife has a 2011 dtec. The cars great but the cabin smells of exhaust fumes and is most noticable when stationary. I presume this will be a cracked EGR pipe?
We've also noticed a significant drop in fuel economy in the last 2 months... down about 7-8mpg and now averaging 28-30mpg even on motorways. Any ideas?

Having exhausts fumes in a car can be very dangerous as they can make you fall asleep and kill you. You cannot presume this problem is due to the EGR pipe.
You need to get this car inspected and fixed by a competent garage.

Switch your fan control settings to recirculate before you start your engine next time, but yeah, needs looking at pronto.
