My EK vti - Updated! Start to Present

Hi, After a few videos on youtube i was hooked on the VTEC bug so i bought one! Here is my 1997 honda Civic vti! But sadly the piston rings have gone so its time for her to come off the road for a bit of TLC and new toys! I have a few plans before it comes back on the road and japfest might point me in the right direction on a few grey areas but heres a few pics in its current state.

    When i first got it

I had a few niggles with it so i stripped the front end and rubbed down and resprayed part of the engine bay i also changed the exhaust from a 4.5" to a 3.5" as it looked gash. I also lowered it a tad more, tinted the windows, Removed the rear wiper to clean the rear end up a bit, e.t.c.

since i have added a 4 to 1 manifold, front strut brace and decat.

Had a little mishap with one of the valves as you can see but thats been fixed now the piston rings gone!

    ENJOY!! Ideas welcome.

I will add some other pics i have on my phone soon after i had it valeted which also shows the car raised a tad due to crap roads in my area!

Its not too bad atm needs a bit of tidying here and there but when its off the road i will get it uptogether. just need to source a new engine which is in the pipeline. Along with a new exhaust system, maybe rims, splitter kit, e.t.c.

I will get some more pics of when i bought it and put them up ASAP

I love the pics. My mates girlfriend took them she is doing photography at college and asked whether she could take some of my Civic and a few of my mates cars. So i thought it would be rude not to!

I was just gonna get another b16 because i priced up a b18 and the difference was about

EddyOS - Lights, jap plates and bodywork are getting done soon

Civicjordan281 - Lips are being ordered from a CL member now

JDM - i went for the b16a as its the sir 175bhp version which is an extra 17bhp on the B16a2 engine. i needed a replacement for my old one as the piston rings have gone. I have got some skunk2 valves, springs, cams and pulleys

Stujotham - Im from Salisbury in Wiltshire mate
