Some of my Mother's favourites, and they still resonate with me now. She died 26 years ago on 1st August. I still have the 7" singles that she used to play on our HMV Radiogram. Funny how music can so easily turn back the clock to happy times...

Simple Minds early stuff and Autechre. If you like chilled electronic try Autechre 'nonima' or 'leterel' on youtube. Also check their 'plyphon' It makes more sense with the video.

As Billy Bragg once sang live, 'the revolution is just a Pele t-shirt away.' Great band, long forgotten. My student days keep them alive!

More fantastic 90s music...anybody remember Airhead? Just brilliant!

    Now on a 90s nostalgia train, I give you...Fat & Frantic!

Late 80s and through the 90s, it was hard to beat Half Man, Half Biscuit.

And of course, Mega City 4. All bands I saw live back in the day. And I wish I was back in the day!!
