I purchased it after writing off Jordan 349 which was owned by my family since new so i thought i'd best replace it.

Went up to glasgow from surrey to pick 318 in febuary 2007 after viewing a few jordans. 1 lady owner, altho passed down to her daughter for which they never changed the ownership of the car with 52k on the clock, full honda service history.

This was it when i got it back in surrey, freshly cleaned after its long journey back home

    Jordan318011.

    Jordan318006.

    Jordan318003.

First thing i did was purchase some 10k HID Hi-Low Headlight beams & get my personal plate on the car

    NokiaN95011.

    NokiaN95012.

after this i managed to swap my standard front bumper with a fellow jordan owner for there smoothed jordan bumper (numberplate holes all smoothed off) to which i started for some reason (looking back at it now thinking what was i doing) putting different sized/located numberplates

    12052007075.

also put some fad stickers on at the time as it was the new 'in' thing to do lol

    18052007076.

then managed to get some pop out cup holders from honda in fleet, to which it comes in much use for my ipod holder <img src='http://www.civiclife.net/board/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

    19052007082.

then arrived my first problem, an 8 month old honda exhaust system falling to pieces at the b pipe - back box joins. so decided to purchase my first bit of spoon for 318

    spoonN1006.

    spoonN1005.

    Jordan318013.

A couple of weeks after getting this spoon system i managed to purchase back jordan 349 to see what parts i could salvage of it. my first parts i got off it was my old spoon rocker cover, spoon leads cover, spoon oil cap and spoon rad mount.

    27072007263.

then came the decision of lowering it, after only using lowering springs on 349 i decided i'd get some coilovers, which i went for d2's aswell as a rear d2 camber kit

    04082007303.

    31082007366.

after this i got hold of some yellow fogs with graphite surrounds from a fellow jordan owner via funky power and started moving and changing my front numberplate

    02092007388.

    04092007393.

Managed to get hold of some honda access wind deflectors from stowey

    10092007405.

    also a couple more stickers

    10092007406.

    10092007409.

also managed to get 3 of my rota slipstreams off 349 which had managed to survive without any problems so quickly fitted one to see how it would sit

    09092007401.

    09092007403.

then fitted the rest and purchased one more from rota

    22092007423.

after all this i decided to try out having no rear interior (lets face it, we all try it at least once lol)

    20102007476.

also fitted new brake discs and pads

    20102007481.

    plus another novelty sticker

    Jordan318024.

then after spending alot on car cleaning products, got 318 sparkling

    Jordan318036.

    Jordan318038.

    Jordan318040.

    Jordan318042.

    also dropped it abit lower

    Jordan318045.

as you can see the sort of issues id get just coming off the driveway

    Jordan318046.

    Jordan318048.

    Jordan318049.

    and another nice relfection shot

    Jordan318050.

after a couple of months, i managed to get myself a new nikon d40 so i took 318 for a few quality pics, only front plate had really changed.

    Nikon-D40022.

    Nikon-D40032.

    Nikon-D40042.

    Nikon-D40043.

    Nikon-D40044.

also a few pics from one of the first bluewater meets from fellow Civic life members

    Nikon-D40116.

    bluewater-1.

few weeks more gone by and i found ricky (babyface) selling a y56 genuine EK9 grill on behalf of his bro so i purchased it aswell as changing plates again

    sd8gb007.

    sd8gb034.

    sd8gb004.

then i put my jordan wheels back on for the winter months and took 318 out for some pics with my mates genuine vti-s

    vti-sjordan318001.

    vti-sjordan318008.

    vti-sjordan318050.

also inbetween the months gone by at the time, id managed to fit my skunk2 inlet from 349 onto 318 aswell as a pipercross viper CAI with custom cold air feed made by intercooling pipes

    DSC_0025.

    and another shot

    DSC_0021.

after a while i decided to ditch the air con to give the engine bay a cleaner uncluttered look as i was never using it

    SonyC90581MP011.

    SonyC90581MP012.

also got hold of a blue rad hose and a couple of other blue hoses to which i fitted within the time of getting the skunk2 inlet fitted

    SonyC90581MP014.

About 8 months into owning 318, an elderly driver managed to just drive straight into the side of my car claiming he didnt see the bright yellow car infront of him on a roundabout to which he caused this damage

    02092007384.

so after 13 months of waiting for him to admit to it (to which he didnt, he never replied to saga, his insurance company) which ended up going to court for them to admit liability on behalf of there customer due to his no desire to reply to the claim, letters and so on being sent his way, i managed to get a cheque for x3 the value of the actuall damage cost, so i decided to get the car resprayed (apart from the roof) the rear arches sorted (common EK rust problem) and the rear wiper hole and 'H' holes smoothed off so heres the pics from after the trip to the bodyshop

    vti-sjordan318141.

    vti-sjordan318131.

    vti-sjordan318148.

    vti-sjordan318128.

    also some snow shots <img src='http://www.civiclife.net/board/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

    Nikon-D40575.

    Nikon-D40568.

    Nikon-D40577.

after all this, i got hold of some blue lightweight wheel nuts and all the rota center caps (as they all fell off) so decided to stick them on using silcone sealer.also after taking the picture shown next, i noticed my wing didnt line up to the door so i loosened the bolts and adjusted it

    Jordan318055.

    Jordan318058.

also as you can noticed, i kept the jordan emblems and hornet badge off the jordan bodywork as i thought it made it look alot cleaner, also ditched the list of fad stickers and just stuck a JDM learner sticker on the rear window

    Jordan318061.

Managed to purchase these seats from a friend for the bargain price of 70 (who needs to spend 400-600 on recaros <img src='http://www.civiclife.net/board/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/=p.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />) just needed restoring to which i did myself using autoglym black dye

    Nikon-D40686.

    one done

    sd8gb039.

then both done and fitted using cobra rails

    Jordan318110.

    Jordan318111.

also got myself some tegiwa import black seat covers, ment for DC5 recaros but fitted like a glove to the cobras altho no pics of these yet.

my next exterior mod was finding a set of EK9 headlights for sale on here to which i snapped up and got fitted as soon as they arrived. completed my front end look

    Jordan318082.

    Jordan318083.

    Jordan318086.

    Jordan318085.

i also decided to do some minor wire tucking with a mate to clean up the engine bay abit

    Jordan318080.

    Jordan318078.

    job done

    Jordan318088.

also popped down to tgm in fleet and purchased this beaut

    Jordan318098.

just need to get hold of the 4-2 part. i also had 318 RR'd

    Jordan318099.

next purchase was from ben as he was selling his jordan, so snapped up his Password JDM 3 point strut

    Jordan318100.

    Jordan318101.

    Jordan318104.

then my next bargain, was this bit of spoon from a friend

No replica spoon shizzle on 318

    Jordan318137.

    thanks again for your comments.

i think once the vesta's are refurbed they will be epic, plus another advantage of the swap for the slips was that they're wider and lighter
