3rd Generation (2007-2015) vehicle added by jazzway, Tuesday 26th Apr, 2016
jazzway added a new Honda to the garage:
Check the vehicle's full information here.
Almost 6 weeks ago i finished my late spring detail on the Jazz with Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant. The car was left with a very smooth, easy to clean paint and almost glassy look. Yesterday after a good wash i topped this with Surf City Garage Barrier Reef Carnauba Paste Wax. Although difficult to see on a picture, the gloss on Jazz went from glassy to a slightly more warmer tint with definately more depth. Two photos from today added to the garage gallery.
Collected an used set winter wheels at the Honda dealer this afternoon. Steel wheels with Michelin Alpin tyres. They came with genuine Honda wheel caps.
wow these look in pretty good nick!
Thanks @legend-ary, and yes they are in a good condition. New these are €500+ without the caps, so i think €200 ALL-IN is a good deal.
What size were those wheels and the tyres
I'm looking at getting myself a set
15" @harry22673 and tyres are 175/65 R15.
Not sure when the Honda dealer REALLY changed the air filter, but this looks a bit too dirty to me for a 11 months old one.
Much better with a fresh one and first time i did something like this myself, a three minutes job.
All that black stuff is diesel soot which all of us are inhaling and we don't have filters. kill the diesel engine now.
I don't think that has been changed in past year or something unless you have driven 20,000 miles in stop and go traffic.
Less than 10.000 kilometers (6200 miles) on mostly country roads. I am afraid this is the original first air filter. The service book shows one change and that was inNovember 2015 before we got the car.
I already saw this earlier (only top side) - checked while swiffering the engine bay - and bought a new one.
With winter time and darker days around the corner i changed the interior OEM bulbs with LEDs.
LED lights are so much better.
It's like night and day, @SpeedyGee ! I finally can find something in the car in the evening.
Will you be able to take some wide angle photos at night? I want to see how bright they are as your GE and my GD have similar interior lights and I've been thinking but don't want overly bright.
Of course i will do that, @legend-ary!
I will try to make some better photos (with an other camera) this weekend. It was 2am when i read your comment and i took a few quick ones with the iphone and only this one survived. An iphone is only good for daylight photos outside.
Oh, and don't look at the mess, hahaha, i had a full loaded car with compost for the garden today.
Very kind of you @jazzway
Kind of like it actually... hmmmm time to pop out the lenses. Just a photo of the front seat photos by this 'other' camera should do
@legend-ary LED interior bulbs give a lovely bright light, it's very practical and a massive improvement on normal filament bulbs. But they aren't over powering if that is what you are worried about.
The photos with the other camera i took yesterday evening were worse, i don't have a tripod and they are too much blurred when i saw them on the computer. So i took out the iphone camera again tonight and this photo is taken with only both front interior lights on.
I'm convinced!!! Time to order some LEDs
