    Hey all,

sorry if this is in the wrong area.

But is there a guide on here on how to paint a rocker cover?

I plan on painting my D series cover sometime soon but don't have a clue how to do it.

I did search the forum first but couldn't come across anything as the search limited me to two words.

Check this out bud.... its a fairly simple process but the trick is taking the time to prep it well

Looks like i'll be heading to the breaker's yard trying to find a D series rocker cover =P

Don't fancy having my car vulnerable for a few hours lol

I noticed that too Andy lol

Thanks for the working link =P

In fairness it works if you log in again, think it's due to the cookies treating it as a new site rather than the one with www at the start.

Also didn't realise there was a how-to for it on here, might give it a bash myself at some point...

I only want mine done in cosmic grey, shouldn't be too hard to do it myself I don't think

Although I've been speaking to Gary about him doing me one for ages lol, will get it done if my OEM one starts to flake.

I just fancy giving it a go myself lol

Since it's just an SOHC top it seems pretty simple to do.

Haven't settled on a colour yet though, and it's going to look completely out of place in my engine bay lol
