    you won't get "cheap" insurance

deal with it til you've had a license for a few years, some no claims and are 25 years old

our lass got quotes of over 1.5g on a eg4. So she bought a ep2 which is 700a year comp. She is 24 mind but she's had her license for less than a year.

Get an EJ6 coupe. People get worried but it's my first car atm and it's great to drive and also you'll learn about handling a bigger car straight off the bat. Although be prepared, prices are quite high recently and obviously area dependant and because it's winter atm, it'll be even higher. I'm paying just short of 1.5k on my coupe, Named driver as well but checked the quotes yesterday and they're at about 2.1k currently. So might be worth getting insured in summer, prices are lower then, Ipaid for mine mid august and got that bargain..

if you can't afford insurance then you're not ready to own a car. might be harsh but we've all been there paying silly money for a car that was prety much worthless.

that said look forward to insuring an EK9 for 360 fully comp, like me
