i crashed my car a few days ago and it will not start, (2000 ej9)

then engine turns over fine, but fuel pump does not prime so guessing it is something to do with this,

i don't have the key fob for the car only the black key, been using this for as long as i have had the car without proplems.

Sounds like you need to reset the fuel pump. There is a button behind the glovebox which you need to press. Pull the glovebox out and you should see it

ill try that 2moz when i go help out Chris,

in my old cars there was one in the engine bay but did not know if the Civic's had one, hope that works but could still do with the key fob anyway,

anyone know how much they are or if ebay ones work?

open up the glove box and you will see a black box tap it a untill the car starts of push the botton on top to reset it and i bet thats you problem solvet its just the fuel cut off switch which when u hit somethink it triggers it off to stop full to the engine
