Right just wondering what cars people have gone from and did you regret it basicly im on the market for a new car got 3.5k so can can a lot of car for the money but i keep finding my self looking at Civics i do love them but i don't want to regret it and think wish i bought a Civic.

Few other ideas iv had is a:

    E46 330i

TT 225 bit hairdresser but 265bhp just from a map is probably fun.

    Open to ideas.

From a Civic to an MX5 (well, with a £200 Fiesta temporarily in between). Not a single regret.

I actually regretted going TO the Civic from my old MX5.

Could get a nicely specced turbo MX5 for £3.5k.

any saloon car you go to isnt going to be as fun or raw.

most people find themselves going back to the stripped out raggedy honda

I've gone from Civic's to imprezas to supercharged MX5's(and all sorts in between). Guess what, I'm now in DC2. read into that as you will.

went from 3 Civics in a row to a diesel vectra then on to a 1.4 corolla

regretted going to a vectra but kinda like the corolla

would i get another Civic? yeah but not as a daily and even then it would be an EK / EJ 3 door in aqua with a SOHC 1.6  because im not fussy

    Not my thing mate.
That's quite suprising is the mx5 a daily ? would love a NA high comp itb one but don't think I'd like one as a daily and i like to have 4 seats just incase.
Been looking at DC2's but good ones seem few and far between.

Yup, only ever have one car, so both MX5S have been dailies (as was the Civic with a Cusco diff - not ideal!).

The fact it's a 2 seaseater is a compromise for most people, but it's never been an issue for me (aside from picking stuff up, where i've had to borrow my dad's car in the past), if anything, the lack of seats means I have an excuse not to take my car places. Lol.

DC2 to a tuned ek4 was a massive let down. Go buy a DC2, your budget is down the 'project/needs work' end often spectrum, but they are worth it.

Big v8 bumpers are fun too with the right diff if you want practical.

I went from a Civic, to a Civic, to a Civic and then my CR-Z. I don't regret it one bit.

    Edit: To clarify; They were an EJ9 & EP3 x 2.

    EG3 > EJ6 > S14

Now want back in on a Honda... It's nice having more power and more comfort but It's pretty much always the same.
You'll want to come back eventually. But I don't regret getting my S14, its been a blast but made me realise how much I actually like my screaming and reliable Honda's.

I had a awesome EK3, sold it and got a classic Turbo 2000 Scooby, sold it 2 months later and bought an EG3!
