Diesel all over the drive this morning after filling up recently. Jacked it up (Honda FR-V 2.2 Diesel) and the link pipe appears to be quite rusty and the culprit. Can anyone tell me if the 2.0 Petrol link pipe is the same part? Checked lings and the part number is 1 digit out but I assume this is just to differentiate between Petrol & Diesel but physically I imagine they are the same what do you think?

Reason I ask I have seen a secondhand as new one for £70 which is better than £168 from Mr H.

    Going to fit it myself

They arent the part numbers - you need to remove the _pfk from the address bar. Simply delete those 4 characters and hit enter - the part numbers will then show

@Tris - just for your info - @Pottermus is our main contact for HoldCroft Honda so if he says it won't fit, he will know better than any of us will and I would take his word as gospel

Thankyou gents. May sell the FR-V on as it is. It's no minter but it's reliable & uses no oil. Just don't feel it's economically viable for me to fix it sadly as I need funds for a van.

Just had a new radiator too. Should get £500 I hope with MOT until Feb

Diesel and petrol filler necks are definitely different. Petrol diameter is smaller. You won’t get a diesel nozzle to fit inside when fuelling. Quite sure the tank is in the same place but the inlet could be slightly different.

Thankyou beefy that is a very good point. Decided I'll prob avoid replacing it for the minute and replace the vehicle. Appreciate the feedback here from everyone.
