Engine & Gearbox Engine Oil Specification For DPF (i-DTEC)

    hi guys
    i found CR-V 15 plate sr 41 on clock 1.6 I-DTEC white
    my question is can i use engine oil [exol 0w-30 low saps from lubetech] like i use for 2.2 I-DTEC accord?
    what is total price for front and rear discs and pads roughly please?
    any specyfic service on 41 k on clock cause last one was on 31
    i ask so i can haggling about price
    any advisory welcome

    you could use exol 0w30 although honda oil is recomended, you have not specified type of pads and discs are thouse worn at that mileage ?
    service would be oil change with oil filter, air filter, cabin filter and general check over.

    can't see in pics need close up pics of discs to say anymore look for scoring or scuff marks around all discs

    A salesman view of discs "not looking good" may not actually mean much.

    If the car has been sat even just a few days, the discs will form a rusted look, take it for a 5-minute drive and that will be good enough to get rid of all that surface rust and then they'll be fine from there on in.

    Conversely, if it's been sat for months the rust will have eaten into the discs and they will need replacing, so as @honda_saj says, we can't tell from those pics.

    With this mileage, the discs should be fine. My Accord still has the original ones, 262.000 kms....

    thanks guys
    i checked rear discs -to replace
    i have been looking tthis car and did not bough cause was dirty out and in and main thing rear bonnet left corner bend towards inside it is joke [you can see on photo ] someone did bodged job
    waste time and fuel so be careful

    Oh I hate those that look OK and the seller says its all good (bar a few small things) and then you travel all that way and find it's a total dog of a car! :Frown:
