Have any of the Elysion owners replaced the front brake discs yet? I need to do mine but I can't find what UK cars share the same size. Any ideas?

I'm not sure that information is going to be easily found anywhere.

You could take the wheel off, measure thickness of disc and diameter, we may then be able to tell you what the alternatives are.

Yeah I've spent a bit of time trying to find out but no luck so far.

    The dimensions are:
    300mm diameter
48.78mm high (when laid flat on the floor)
    c.28mm thick
    64.19 centre bore

    Thanks

I had a quick look on euro car parts and most of the dimensions are close to the above but they're listed as 282mm diameter? I've searched for a 2003 2.0l accord.

Where did you see that they are 300mm?

I can't remember I googled for Accord discs for sale and checked the info listed for them.

Check the figures for Accord 2.0 8th Generation

ELYSION / honda | model list|JP-CarParts.com not sure which version is yours but have a look at the VIN and select the correct version from the list it has all the part numbers for pretty much everything. In terms of the disk they are all 45251-SJK-003, that crosses with TRW DF7404, or BOSCH 0 986 AB6 279. Running the TRW number you pull up a few more options DF7404,TRW DF7404 Brake Disc

Facebook groups are great for seeing pictures but it's a terrible way to store and have access to larges amount of technical information.

That's what HondaKarma is great at doing.

I agree but it's not great if the Elysions are lumped under 'other models'. They will become far more popular over the next few years as the prices drop. In the year or so I have looked at them it's went from about 2/3 for sale to at least 20/30. It was the same story over the last 2/3 years with the Toyota Alphard. These big Jap buses end up with huge fan bases, and because they are mostly just starting to go into the cheaper 10 year old plus category then it might be worth them having their own section.

    Just my two pence.

This is being addressed, @DeviateDefiant will be creating an Elysion sub section soon.

They do indeed have a fan base that will get bigger as time goes on. I'm a fan myself and will probably own one myself sometime in the future.

@SpeedyGee Really glad to hear it! I am a huge fan of the Elysion Prestige. In my opinion, it's obviously a Legend in minivan form on wheels. Similar styling, very similar promotional videos produced (both available on my YouTube channel), both AWD, both with J35 V6 engines.

I would love one in black to grace the drive along with the KB1!

I'm actively on a facebook StepWGN page and the issue is as speedy states with no real search facility the same issues keep coming up and it gets very monotonous and annoying to keep replying with the same answers. It is very useful if looking for a used part that might be in the UK or asking some of the more model specific questions, showing pictures and videos of modifications it does an excellent job.

I keep trying to shift the owners this way so the info is more searchable but to no luck.

As an aside I'd love to import an Elysian but the robbing motor tax system here is brutal and puts the running costs out of reach for me. If you liken the Elysian to a Legend the StepWGN would be an Accord still a plenty nice place to be.... if I could just loose the kids
