I am wanting to 'smoke' my front standard ej9 headlights (rather than spending
dude ill do it for you? if not go to my build thread its on there...
Check my build mate page 3 tells you how
EK9 headlights > homemade efforts....
they aint all that expensive either....
haggis mate EK9 headlights have shot up in price, they are now nearly 300 quiid a set
i did mine DIY
easy to do, just remove them as well as the bulbs,
heat them at 150 in oven for a min to allow the silicon to go soft,
pull them apart,
spray with rattle cans and seal with clear silicon (remove the old stuff 1st)
funky sell EK9 headlights for 200 Quid but theres a huge waitin list
what from honda?
in a 18 months they've doubled in price?
why is that then?
it was cheaper for me to buy EK9 lights from honda than it was to get the ones that were standard on the EJ6
I think they have just re-aligned some prices with Japan
Price per light the price has been 23,000Y since forever
Price was around
what is it 200 + vat for a set or each fella ?
What a rip off for some headlights
ye but look at these compared
OEM are miles better and at 200 a set if thats what they are id much rather have OEM ones
But thats Facelift vs. Pre Facelift, pre facelifts have frosted lenses, wheres facelifts are clear, so facelift lights will always look cleaner... Plus the lenses are all old and cloudy, If he'd polished the lenses before he put them back together they would have looked alot more fresh
ooooops my bad ha them facelifts are awesome, and ye he should have cleaned em proper before putting em back toghether
are sandycheeks facelifts then ?
that green coupe is nice
il believe that they are 200 pound a side when i hear that from honda tbh
EK9 lights are about
