eg6 backfires crazy, just wondered why?? is it good or bad for it to do so?

it also has a full un-named s/s exhaust. hope some one can explain

Under what sort of driving! While at full throttle, when you have lifted off power and your slowing down?

Is it running a standard ECU/wiring loom?

backfiring isnt great idea, mine did it when the dizzy went wrong if you floored it. was sparking late so when the exhaust valve was open. don't no if thats wats yours is doing

I mean if backfiring when dropping the load is worrying you, then your solution is to swap to a standard ECU. Without hearing it/seeing it for myself I can't tell you why it's doing it, or what it's doing to your engine. But better safe than sorry, no?

Above that, it could just be the system you're running! I can't make a shout like "oh it's a shit tune" from the other end of the interwebs, lol!

top end of 2nd and 3rd gear when giving it some stick, and if you just driving in 2nd, like aproching speed jumps it backfires, you think the dizzy's messed?

my dizzy cap was causing my eg5 to sound like an impreza, it was running on 3 cylinders i think. but that was just random, it wasnt specifically under load or anything.

It'll be a freeflowing exhaust without a cat, id be surprised if most cars on here didn't do it.

Was about to say the same, it's while coasting in gear it pops as he slows down. You haven't got a misfire mate, i'd say what your explaining is all ok
