Engine & Gearbox eg esi loom and eg6 loom

    Is there any diffrence in these two looms at all ??

    engine loom or chassis loom?

    the engine loom, the difference is the map sensor wire on the eg6 is part of the chassis, whereas the eg5 map sensor wires are attached on the engine loom.

    so if i was going to use a esi engine loom on a b16 would i just have to extend the map sensor wires.

    You'd have to use a chassis loom with the map sensor on the bulkhead, or run the wire from the ECU to the esi loom yourself.

    You'll need to move the o2 sensor as well.
