Engine & Gearbox Distributor problem B16 A2

    hi, having a little problem starting my vti. diagniosed the problem to the distributor, got a new 1 but thers no power coming to the distributor, (no spark plus sounds different whn cranking). i have checkd all the fuses and thers no problem there. Jus wondering if any1 can help ie. if thers any relays or other components 2 check related to the distributor. cheers

    Jus chekd it now i got fuel and ther is a spark bt it still refuses to start. Any ideas any1???

    If you've got fuel, spark and good compression and you've got a known working dizzy then check your timing belt it may have slipped a tooth or more and hence it won't start anymore, I've had that problem before drove me nuts untill i noticed the belt had jumped 3 teeth on mine!

    i did a compression check and its not good news. No compression on all cylinders!!! i fink it may possibly b da head. wnt b sure till it comes off though!
