    Anyone listen to them?

When I'm feeling down I like to listen to them!

    My favourites are

    Whiskey lullaby - brad paisley

Goodbye, I'm sorry - Jamestown story

How do you get so lonely - Blaine Larson

    Adams song - blink182

    Why - Rascal Flatts

    What's yours?

Adams song is a fantastic tune.

    My immortal - evanescence

You could be happy - snow patrol

Sure there are more but I can't think.

Wayne Cochran's Last Kiss is probably the most depressing song I've ever heard, though I only have the Pearl Jam version.

    Others of note:

    Guns N' Roses - Estranged

Band Of Horses - The Funeral

    Rise Against - Everchanging

    Frank Turner - Jet Lag

Probably the most poignant for me: Temple Of The Dog - Say Hello To Heaven

To be honest i get severly depressed when ever i hear any Guns & Roses, to the point that i want to kill myself.

Haha, not a fan I take it?

I forgot Third Eye Blind - Slow Motion. Musically quite beautiful, but really dark lyrics.

Not really a fan of sad songs, slow tempo yes but not depressing shit. Here's a few I can think of anyway:

    R.E.M. - Everybody Hurts

    Johnny Cash - Hurt

Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (Better than the Leonard Cohen original)

    Every Radiohead song ever

    Any country song

    And some I actually like:

Jimmy Eat World - Hear you me

    Blink - Man Overboard

    Pantera - Hollow

    The Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm

Diddy ft. Faith Evans & 112 - I'll be missing you

I realised you have to separate nostalgia from sad thinking about it. Nostalgia is a weird feeling.

That's more like it FN2Dan, although a little lightweight. Download Indian Summer if you haven't got it already. I have decided that their "Discography" is a must have in any music collection. "Angry Son" is the perfect screamo song, awesome tune.

Smashing Pumpkins is a good shout, but it will have to be " For Martha". I want that as my funeral song...if any one turns up.

I've heard a few bits and pieces by Indian Summer but shall definitely add those two to the downloads list! The Pumpkins are ace  Think my fav by them is Mayonaise.

Also anything by Uaral and Make A Change...Kill Yourself are another two good bands to listen to when you're in a bleak mood.
