Well all I can say is I will not be recommending Tcut bumper dressing. washed the car this morning using just a hosepipe and the dressing started to come off.
The dressing had been on for a week so should have had plenty of time to cure. I followed the instructions carefully even going aver the trim with panel wipes & tack cloths before applying the dressing.
So after six hours last weekend applying the stuff, it was all removed with soapy water and sponge in under a hour
Oh well lesson learnt ,upwards and onwards time to put all my effort into getting the car ready for Japfest

I have been looking at other options @andy83. Ideally the best option would be to have them painted.
My son in law has offered to paint them for me for the cost of materials, giving his time for free. But as the Civic is our only vehicle finding the time is a little difficult

hello mate I total get your point about paint as it is the time involved, I still wonder if a good trim dye might work..
    Thanks

    This may be a bit of a Marmite reaction but today I installed this IMG_0524.JPG IMG_0523.JPG IMG_0521.JPG IMG_0522.JPG IMG_0524.JPG
Manufactured by EGR Australia, and was available as a optional extra for the Australian market.
    bonnet_600x300.
Found this dark smoke version on Ebay and must say on a black Civic It looks pretty darn good

Looks good to me. Anything to help protect the soft paint on the bonnet. :Niceone:

I quite like to have one myself but not sure how it would look on a silver Civic. :link:

I liked the pressed plates Charlie, have a good show at Donnginton take loads of picture. Mickyb has some stickers for all the participants on the stand.

He also has the HK banner.

Well another year has passed and it's MOT time again, happy to say she passed with one advisory. Nothing to serious slight damage to the dust cover on the offside track rod end ball joint cover but not allowing the ingress of dirt.
So going to get a pair of track rod ends and replace both sides maybe a bit of belt & braces approach, but would sooner do it that way then get the tracking done knowing that both sides should be good for a few years to come.

For a while now I have been thinking of replacing the interior with one from a Type-R, but there is one detail that is holding me back which is the Type-R that is embroidered into the seat.
    th.
What I am currently looking into is to see if I can find someone able to remove the R and replace with a embroidered S. I will keep you posted on whether it is possible.
