I've been looking everywhere to try and insure a Accord Type-R, best I've been able to get is 3 grand!

I'm going to be driving a B16 all my life if this carries on :Frown:

Tried admiral? Worth a go if you can get a multi-car deal, cheap as chips usually.

Bro can't you jump onto someones traders policy or do you have to be 25?

Try going for the insurance where everyone in your household is insured to drive..

That does seem excessive, try brentacre.

I'm 24 with 3 years n it would be under £800 for me! But I'm sticking to my b series for a few more years!

That is insanely high for your age n ncb, have you got any older relatives you can put on it? Might put it down a fair bit

Wow that is unbelievable. I just got a cracking deal with admiral but I am 25. Try Sky insurance they were very helpful with quoting me and were the second cheapest

actually just on what your felly said about the older relitive there

if your fully comp in you Civic then just get somebody to fully comp the accord and you pay the whatever it is (gotta be less than what you got quoted) you still get to drive away at it

    Move city.

I'm £1200 fully comp on my Accord Type-R. I've just turned 24, held my licence for 6 years, got 3 years ncb, and was banned for dangerous driving (DD40) for 15 months.

    Not bad I think !

when you've been banned does your original test date stay valid?

or did you not have to resit your test?

Depends if it was in the first 2 years doesn't it?
