Exhaust System Buying spoon n1 system will I be taxed?

    thinking of ordering a spoon n1 system from nengun, it's a total saving of

    It is highly likely that such a package will be subject to customs/duties.. Nengun will have to declare the value of the package contents to be on the safe side and this will be picked up on upon arrival into the UK..


    There is of course a remote chance that it may not be subject to such charges, but the operative word here is 'remote, and remote at best..

    I think im right in saying nengun mark down the value on items quite often, can't remember where i heard that but pretty sure thats right.


    Also heard delivery times are a bit slow due to the way they operate

    One way of doing it is to get an invoice/receipt underdeclaring the paid amount and use that for the customs declaration.


    Get one that states the item was bought for

    also, i have been charged a handling fee by parcel force.


    it was something like


    items 300


    marked as 50


    customs charge 30


    parcel force fee 30


    + vat !!!

    My wheels, marked at a value of 100$, i got charged 30 quid all in, so 60 quid for both packages as they was sent in two's.


    I think i got lucky though. :Smile:

    ask them to wrap it up as a birthday present! say its being delivered straight to the persons house :Grin: . Always works when i buy stuff from america off ebay....
