Get a set of bonnet ones off ebay they are cheap enough I'm sure. Saves you messing about with making stock boot ones fit.

the boot ones may not be strong enough to lift a bonnet?

I got Tein one's and it does raise the back of the bonnet by about 5mm.

I added another 5mm of rubber washers so it looks like an intentional bonnet raise

They're really strong and stiff and hold the bonnet in a cool position and or where-ever you angle it at.

    Cost me

i tried to follow that DIY with some EG boot lifters, byt in a EG i just couldn't find a sctright gap for they lifters to lay in when the bonnet was shut - gave up..
