Hello all here my review/opinion on Autoglym super resin polish all these pics are of it being used by hand some nearly all have been sealed with Extra gloss protection I feel srp will mate most colours shine good and add depth if used with enough layers it can fill light swirls ECT and to keep them shining I use autoglym shampoo.
    thanks andy

It can indeed and is a lot better than T-Cut. There is another polish/cutting compound I like as well, and that's Maguire's ultimate compound, good for getting rid of some scratches.

Sorry to be a misery, but Super Resin Polish does nothing for me. I used to use it - 20 years ago - but now I know there are far superior specialist products available (easier to use, better results) even at a similar price point.

Ok, it has been around for some time now but I still find it a very good polish, What polish do you use now?

For the polish/prep stage I generally use a paint conditioner - Dodo Lime Prime current favourite, but I also use Bilt-Hamber 'Micro-Fine' on the CR-V and the Swissvax version on my MINI - followed by a high quality wax, currently either Bilt-Hamber 'Hydra-Wax' or Dodo 'White Diamond' for the CR-V and Swissvax 'Best of Show' for the MINI. Sometimes I add in an extra specific polish stage, using Meguiars Pro number 7 'Mirror Glaze.'

Regular maintenance (and surface top-up) can then be completed quickly with a good protection quick detailer, either Bouncers 'Done & Dusted', Auto-Perfection 'Clarity' or Dodo 'Red Mist.'

Doing a full job on my CR-V - excluding clay - with the multi-stage products takes not much longer than going around once using AutoGlym SRP, and the results and protection are in a different league.

I agree super resin polish is a filler polish but for people who have not done detailing easy to use I would prefer to cut with da then polish and seal

Well I have just got back from a 11 day trip, the Accord got into such a state that last Sunday I went into Halford's that I was just passing and had to buy some cleaning gear. Up to now I have used Autoglym for years so I thought I would have a change and bought some Meguiars shampoo, wash mutt , and a towel, just to give the car a quick wash, well I must say that I was very please with the Meguiars, they cleaned the car up well seen as it was only a quick wash, I think I will be trying more of Meguiars gear.
