What temperature should the engine coolant be reading according to my torque app its going up to 101 - 102 degrees then the fan kicks in goes down for a while, the needle on the dash is always under half never goes up and never aba engine warning lights etc seems to run hot or is this normal? Can this sort off temperature cause damage? Coolant is fully topped up.

    shoot it!
shoot one of the pipes with an infra-red temperature gun and see what that reads.

Same with mine, the needle sits just under half way when fully warmed up.

If the temperature gauge on the dash is at the bottom when cold, and is just below 1/2 way when fully warmed up then that is normal.
