nothing more to do on my Civic, I use it daily, rides perfectly
i am moving with my house so I have other things on my mind, as soon as i will move, I will change my brake discs (front) + brake hardware (the metal thigs that hold the pads and don't let them squeak ).
cheers guys !
I recently cleaned my dirty PCV valve and I’m thinking of installing a catch can between the PCV valve and intake manifold as you see in the picture. This will separate the oil going back in the IM making it cleaner. The question is what size pipe do I need?
On mine I do have the small pipe like in the picture. I can search for this part and give you the original part number.
I needed to know the size so I can order on eBay a longer size to fit a catch can
oh sorry, i'm going to measure the exterior today, the interior is the same as the PCV pipe
What is the interior diameter lol
what is this supoort for ? there's nothing attached to it.
I think that’s how it’s meant to be but will check my car and let you know
sorry for not getting back to you regarding the diameter of the PCV pipe, i measured it, and it's roughly7mm
Anyone on that support (3 posts ago) do you know what should / should've been there?
cheers mates !
I'm going to do a brake job on my Type-S , which will include front discs and pads + rear discs and pads. Brembo on front and Eicher on the back (because 90% of the braking is in the front and 10% in the rear. So no need to pay extra 50£ to have brembo all over the place ).
cost is around £130 for all + accessory parts (small metal brackets that the pads sit on).
So yeah. Waiting for my salary and I'll do everything in 2-3 hours
As I've seen on the vast internet, the caliper piston is normal on the front (I can press it with a normal C clamp), but on the rear, I must have a rotating tool so that I can press it.
Any advice from you guys ?
I’ve got this set. Pretty comprehensive and works well.
for some reason link doesn't work. just type in on amazon
AllRight 22 Pcs Brake Caliper Rewind Tool Brake Caliper Piston With Gloves
Brake job done Brembos all around
I will do a mod on my shifter (actually 2 mods)
First is installing this adjuster/adapter : https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/4EAAAOSwD0lUdb~~/s-l1600.jpg
Second is shortening the rod by 2inches (threading the rod, cutting it after)
Lastly if it ain't short enough I will install a smaller kn0b on it
Have you done anything like this ? Any advice ?
Cheers guys !
done doing the shifter mod (throw reduced by an inch and it feels more rigid .
the bad part is that i dropped one pin and i can not take it out (can't see it :'( :'( :'( )
so i,ve improvised some metal wire holders...i hope they will hold as i don't want to have a car thats not working ..
soooo anyone can give me that pin please ? i can pay for it no problem, thanks
