I bought a 2002 Auto CR-V last week, 92k miles on it. There is no record of a transmission fluid change anywhere in the history, but when I checked it, it looks fairly newish and is about 5mm over the top of the full line, maybe a bit more. I have noticed that the gear changes are sometimes a bit more noticeable than others and it tends to change gear a bit late almost?

I have the correct fluid arriving today, so I am going to do a single drain and fill of it to the correct level and hope that it solves the potential issue!

Does this sound like a likely cause?
