      Hi mate,
      Can i ask a favour please, i know i don't have 50 posts in order to sell but i know several members on here and the wheels/tyres i have for sale i will only accept cash on collection for. Basically i know theres a high demand for the Rota Gt3's in red and since i have 2 of them i'd like to advertise them.
      Can i have permission to post them as i need to shift them, i would include my mobile number and email address for contacts and the buyer would have to collect as i'm not one to rip people off and it saves hassle of postage.
      I thought i'd pm you as there is no admin online to seak permission.

      alright buddy!, now first things first, what ECU is the car running?, usually speaking it will only stop you from running the car if the key is not disabling the immobisilier with the signal it sends from the transponder box to the ECU (as im sure you know) so make sure its not using any old random ECU (like an EJ9/EK3/EK4) as if it is, it will never start, if it is running one of those i would suggest getting a an EG6 ECU and conversion harness, then there should be absolutely no problems

      What i should meantion is that the red key was only ever meant to be used if reprogramming the other keys, so what he could do is just goto a key cutters and get another one cut to suit.

      Funny enough dude i have a complete EK sitting on my drive to be broken, which was my brothers, so it has a complete lock set, but only one key, but it wouldn't be hard to get a blank off ebay and have it cut, from experience from work, i don't think key cutters can make keys from the barrel, only key to key

      Hey dude, got a bit of a conundrum and I know your another clued up guy.

      Do you know the story with the red key situation? got a friend/potential customer that wants me to sort out his issues. Got an EK (pre-facelift) with a Built NA B20 cheap, but it only came with the red key and had been mildly vandalised. obviously the red keys not your normal key, now he's tried using the red key, he's got the key symbol light on the dash permanantley lit when the keys on and no start. I know we can go to Honda and get a new set of keys and everything reprogrammed but that costs a bomb and we want to avoid large amounts. Any experience in this area? was thinking a normal ek doesn't need an immobiliser can it be just disabled and use a copied cut key of the red one used? or just get a cut copy of the red key and get that programmed?

      or
      I have half a set of gear for an ek, ignition barrel, little black box, ecu etc. but think i may have lost the key, happen to know if key cutters can make a key from the barrel?
